end of june

Its already the end of June and half the year is over. Crazy- but in a good way. Most mothers are sad to see their babies growing up and miss the infancy stage. Not Me! I am so glad that my babies are getting more independent and self sufficient. I enjoy watching them feed themselves and starting to reach milestones, and especially play with each other. I cant wait until they are old enough to take to the library, park, and zoo. I'm looking forward to them walking and talking to me and telling me about their day.

Sweet Addy. who can resist this smile?
Marek has started standing
We finally got the trailer hitch put on the van, so we finally decided to turn Mareks seat around. If you look closely you can see his head in the back, as well as the other two in the mirrors. Last night my husband went and bought a rack to attach to the hitch. This way we will no longer have to put the triplet stroller in the back of the van. Yea!
And speaking of stroller-i actually bought another triplet stroller! I was dropping some stuff off at Kid to Kid (a local resale clothing shop) and happened upon this Peg-Perego triplet stroller. If you have multiples you know how rare of a find this is. The price was unbelieveable! It is in great condition and had lots of features. Now i will have one for me and one to keep at my parents. No more dragging strollers around!

two week catch-up

So sorry that  I haven't posted in so long. I wish i could say that it was because i went on some awesome vacation or did something really exciting--but no! These past two weeks have had us hanging around the house, visiting both sets of grandparents, and other general everyday occurrences. We are getting upgrades done to the van already. New fuel pump, conditioning the leather seats, and adding on a trailer hitch are the main changes. We will be vacation ready if the opportunity presents itself. The trailer hitch is pricey due to the fact the back bumper has to be cut to even make room for it and a special harness was ordered. Needless to say i have spent Aaron's quarterly bonus before he has even earned it yet.
The babies are doing well. Adalynn went for her follow-up check up with the ENT specialist to take a look at her ear tubes, and she has finally passed her hearing test in both ears. Yea! We are also pushing the sippy cups aggressively this week. They seem to have figured it out, but they still prefer the bottle. The only issue is they have to either be leaned back or laying down to drink. They haven't mastered tilting the cup up yet.
Landon is cruising so well while holding onto something. Plus he also has mastered the short flight of stairs at my mothers house. He has gotten so fast that he is up the stairs and down the hall before u realize that he is even gone. I will upload pics from the part two weeks asap

Hanging out with Memaw and Pepaw

The kiddos spent most of the week out in the country at their Memaw and Pepaws house. They really seem to enjoy it since they have more room to roam then at our house. They also had their first restaurant high chair experience not only once- but twice while visiting. I am actually impressed at how well they behaved. Though I am always worried coming into a restaurant and asking for three highchairs. What if they dont have enough? What if my kiddos are really messy? Well the one baby next to our table made more of a mess than my three babies and the parents made no attempt to clean up. Wow. I cleaned up the table and the chairs at least. So I guess I shouldn't worry too much.
Addy and Landon had their helmets looked at this week and Landon's head is now in the normal range. He no longer has to wear a helmet unless I wanted to make his head a little more symmetrical, so we are going to just have him wear his helmet at night for two weeks and see if he has has any change and then he most likely will be completely discharged. Addy still has a few more months ahead of her.
All the babies are now crawling and are constantly wondering off. Ummm where is.......Where did he go......Have you seen........how the heck did u get.......get out of.......wow that was fast....well its your own fault....and leave the dog alone.........

Summer time

Summer is upon us. The heat is stifling already, and especially so when you are trying to load three babies into a vehicle in 95 degree weather by yourself. I'm mopping away sweat in five minutes flat. So with this being said, I don't get out very much. I had an awesome free day on Monday since Aaron was out at my parents house with the kids. I stayed up late the night before hanging with my bestie. I slept in until 8:45 am! jealous???!!! Then I had a morning massage followed by shopping in the Southlake boutiques. A nice quiet lunch and a browse through Barnes and Noble ending with a chick flick at the movies. Finally a jaunt down to the local pool with my bestie and brother to relax, visit, and read. Best day of my life i think. Or at least very close to it. lol. Babies were home by that evening and the chaos resumes.
We are trying different foods to see what the babies like. Its really like a science experiment. And of course Marek eats everything, but doesn't like to feed himself. Landon likes to feed himself and likes to be fed and eats most things except some vegetables. And Addy hates to be fed. She only wants to feed herself and when you try to feed her she throws a huge fit! omg  Its actually funny unless you are the one having to feed her. So Miss Picky now has a lower iron count then the boys. gees.
