Messy boy

Why does my son Landon find so much amusement in making a mess. It's like his mission in life to sneak when I'm not looking, and create a mess that's always a pain to clean up. The annoying part is he is so darn cute even when getting caught. One of his favorite things to do is get in the pantry when I'm not looking and pull out stuff he is not supposed to get into, and pore it all over the kitchen floor. So far he's attacked my $12 xanthum gum, a box of cornstarch, and a carton of organic soy milk. He also likes to get into my makeup and either paint all over himself or paint all over my bathroom. Just yesterday he got into a bottle of nail polish and not only painted his fingers but his entire hand and part of the tile. Last week he got into the baby powder and dumped it all over his train table in the playroom. Geez! Let's just say this kid has a bad reputation, and you can't take your eyes off him for a second. You make me so mad one second and then you do something so cute the next and totally redeem yourself, such as turning yourself into a butterfly fairy princess! Haha. Love you Landon!

Our 2nd annual March of Dimes walk

This past weekend we did our second annual March of dimes walk to raise money for premature infants. I honestly don't have a lot of free time, but I always make time for this charity because we lived everything this charity stands and raises money for. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the walk felt great. My team was smaller this year than last, but from those that came I really felt the love and support. Thanks so much for coming Nikki, Sweets, and Cathy!

Our first wedding

The triplets attended their first wedding this past weekend. We drove all the way to Farmington, Missouri for Aaron's sister's nuptials. Twelve long hours away, I might add. Twelve long Dora-filled hours! Thanks again for the invention of the car DVD player, but unfortunately for us my kiddos movie interests aren't very diverse. I was nice seeing family that we hadn't seen in a long time. Plus a lot of people were meeting the triplets for the first time, and they really were a hit at the wedding. Landon and Adalynn were dance floor junkies. We could barely get them off the dance floor. It was so cute to watch them bounce around and wiggle their hips. They were definitely loving all the attention.

Happy Easter 2013

This is obviously not the triplets first Easter, but this is the first year that they participated in the fun kid part of the Easter holiday. They each received their own Easter basket filled with goodies, and we hunted eggs in the backyard.

The day before Easter we went and had our photos taken with the Easter bunny. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.

Great job finding your eggs babies. It was funny watching them go. Landon kept opening his egg as soon as he found them, and Marek was great at finding them, but then he would drop them back on the ground. Thankfully Emma and Samantha ended up with most off the eggs, because i definitely didn't want all that candy in my house. We had great lunch of ham, fruit salad, and green beans, and a nice time spending it with family.
