Happy birthday Kara Beth

We had a great time at Karen Beth's birthday party. And Adalynn especially enjoyed the hello Kitty birthday party theme. They really do play well together and I hope they grow up becoming best friends. I can't wait for summer pool parties so they can play together more.

Feeding the ducks

A perfect Sunday for feeding the ducks at the park. The kids loved it, and I think those ducks are super spoiled. I think there was probably a hundred or so competing for bread throughout the park.

Out newest addition to the family

Whoa! Don't let your mind get crazy. Our newest addition to the family is a new puppy not a baby. NEVER doing that again! We rescued a five month old puppy from a foster lady that said the pup was found emaciated in a street. We aren't exactly sure what breed of dog it is but we plan to fatten him up and give him a loving home. Let's just say our yorkie Molly was beyond pissed when Copper moved in. The triplets seem to enjoy playing with Copper until he starts nibbling on them or chewing their toys. I'm happy as long as their are no accidents on the floor and he is not chewing my shoes.

Christmas catch up

Finally posting Christmas pictures. I apologize for the delay. I really have been a crappy blogger lately. We took a Christmas trip up to Iowa this year to spend some time with family. I bought the kids snow suits; however the snow melted the day before we arrived. I was really bummed about that, but I ended up eating my words when the night before leaving they had a record snow storm. The triplets were able to play in the snow about twenty minutes before we had to leave to head back home. I really enjoyed seeing my family. We weren't able to make the family reunion this past Labor Day, so this definitely made up for it.

We made it back to Texas the Sunday before Christmas in time for Pepaw to have surgery on his ankle. He was released from the hospital Christmas eve and our festivities continued as planned. Christmas eve we had scrumptious potato soup, Caesar salad, and monkey bread. Plus my best friend and her husband came over to join us. Aaron and I decided to open all out gifts Christmas eve and save Christmas morning just for Santa.

It was a great holiday; however, I have decided that the kids have received too much crap. Next year I am going to buy them only two gifts each. It really is ridiculous the amount of toys that are layered across the floor. Our house is too small as it is.
