OUR LIFE THIS WEEK
the babies have just turned 8 months old! so its time to get up and get moving and try to finally get this pregnancy weight off. I have 50 lbs. to lose to get back to the weight i was before i started the fertility treatments. Thankfully my husband is feeling the need to lose weight too. My brother Jeffrey and him are going to put a weight bench in the garage and start working out together. Since I am the main one making dinner, i plan on cooking more healthier meals. Temptation is a bitch. so i had icecream today, but i did also walk/jog for 30 minutes around the
neighborhood and also the night before with my friend amber and her son. The triplets definitely make a scene wherever they go. They really seemed to enjoy the walking.

MORE SICK
Well the babies have given their sickness to my husband and myself. I never get sick. I have worked at a hospital for almost five years exposed to all those germs and have only been sick once. First time the babies get a sickness thats contagious. BAM! figures. Those babies need to stop kissing all over their momma! lol So now the whole household is sick including one of the dogs i think. The crude is going around people so stay rested and hydrated.
I love me some shutterfly, and for years I have been making photobooks as gifts or for our family. I just finished a book for each baby. Basically their life in 2010. They have been ordered so hopefully they turn out as cute as i hope they will be. I will post a pic when they arrive.
I finally started using the tandem triplet stroller for the babies. This is the one that lines the babies up one behind the other. Lets just say that I have learned a valuable lession about proper lifting. I should know better with all the training they pump into your head at the hopital, but no I lifted incorrectly and threw my back out a few days ago. In one day i lifted the stroller in and out of the trunk about 5 times. dear lord im getting old. I cant wait for the minivan because i will no longer have to lift up and out of the trunk. My husband and I should be able to go shopping as early as next week. Who wants to babysit???

ALL SICK
It was inevitable. All three babies are sick. Landon and Marek have the nasty cough, running nose, snot filled nose, and head congestion. Adalynn vomited all over me and herself last night and she has the congestion too. I figured that they would all get Landons RSV. They use all the same stuff and you can only sanitize your hands so often. Lets hope that none of the problems get into their lungs and affect their breathing. Under the circumstances they have pretty well behaved. It was definitely worse when they had their ear infection. I have so many errands to run too. darn

FUTURE MINIVAN PURCHASE
I was always that person that said no matter what I am never driving a minivan. How emarrassing! I will drive an SUV thats cool looking.......well peeps I am having to eat my words because there is no way around not getting a minivan. A SUV costs more, eats more gas, is harder to raise the kids up into, and actually has less space. So my husband and I have picked out the 2011 Nissan Quest as our minivan of choice. It doesnt become available for purchase until the end of this month, but I promise you that we will be heading the the dealership as soon as we can. Who wants to babysit? As far as minivans go, this is the coolest looking one of all. It has a very sleek design.
The inside looks super nice.
The inside looks super nice.
This is with the back seats folded down
I plan on having leather and definitely an entertainment DVD player installed for the kiddos. That is a must. Hopefully we can get a good deal and not have to live in the van in order to make the payments! lol
CARSEATS
Since Marek is already only a few pounds shy of the forward facing mark for carseats, I decided to go ahead and order 3 new carseats. I love this green color and its neutral enough for all three. It has some really great features and they can use it up to 100 lbs., so they will have it forever! Thats why I was willing to buy it new instead of used. When I ordered them I used the remaining gift cards I had stashed away, so thankfully they were half the price with the gift cards added. Plus I wanted some really awesome looking seats for when we get our new minivan. lol

SICK BABIES
Landon has a wet cough, runny nose, running eyes, but no fever. Just thinking he had a cold, but not wanting to wait out the weekend I took him to the pediatrition friday afternoon. Turns out the poor boy has RSV. This is a respiratory issue that can be very dangerous for premature infants. Worse case senerio is difficulty breathing resulting in a hospital stay. Of course it is also highly contagious and I'm supposed to try to keep the kiddos separated.. lol not likely. Marek is already coughing too though it doesnt sound near as bad as Landons. Basically Landons treatment involves constantly suctioning out his nose, sleeping with a humidifier, and watching him for changes in his breathing. If he starts having trouble breathing or rapid breathing he has to go to the ER. We have had a different sick kid every month for the last three months. omg. Does it ever end? Lets go babies and build up your immune systems asap! Everyone keep my babies in your thoughts for a speedy recovery!

GETTING SO BIG
Well the triplets are growing fabulously! They were weighed at the doctors office and based on their adjusted age, they are growing great. Marek is currently the heaviest at 16 lbs 2 oz. Landon is 15 lbs 6 oz. and Adalynn is 13 lbs. 8 oz. My princess is definitley the most petite, but oddly enough she ended up being the tallest. lol You go Addy! Hard to imagine how small they started out at. All less than two and a half pounds a piece.

Today has been a jam packed day. Early morning routine pulmonolgist visit for the kiddos RSV vaccine, followed by a trip to the mall to have some photos taken at the Picture People, next back home to get some baby food into some empty tummies, finally out again to have their last dose of the flu shot at their pediatrition. Needless to say, I think Im more exhausted then they are. There pictures turned out amazing! Our babies are so photogenic!

DIAPERS..DIAPERS..DIAPERS
omg. i think my husband and I have changed more poopie diapers in the last 9 days then we have in the last 9 weeks! all three of our kiddos are alternating having bouts of diarrhea! geez Landon was having diarrhea last week when we were out visting my parents and the worst case of diaper rash accompanied us. Now for the last few days it has been Adalynn and Marek that has the diarrhea and diaper rash. The rash cream cant really work its magic since there doesnt seem like enough time between poops. Im thinking it might be related to their teething since they arent having any fever or loss of appetite; however we are into baby food now so who knows. could be something they are eating?? I have gotten smart in using the cheap diapers since we are going thru them so fast and trying to save the good diapers for naps and night time.
So still continuing to try new baby food for the trips. Today we sampled bananas, and it appears to be a hit! Even finicky Addy liked it so much that i started hiding her carrots in it and she gulped them both down.
Also out with the small and in with the bigger sizes! Today i went thru all the clothes and boxed up the 0-3 months and pulled out some smaller looking 6 months. They are currently wearing 3-6 months, but we were running out of stuff to wear. They have some great clothes thanks to all the used stuff given to us by friends and family.
