Milestones are important memories, but with three they are hard to keep up with. I have three baby books but i have only written in them a few times and i don't think barely at all for Marek. First time swimming
What an adventure we had for our first time swimming. My friend Nikki and I took the triplets to the neighborhood pool. Lets just say getting the babies into their suits and applying sunscreen is a beating. And of course Marek pooped in his little swimmers before we even left the house. Note to self: do not try to pull little swimmers off like a pull-up. Best to rip one side- then wipe. This was of course after I got poop all down Mareks leg. After taking forever to load up all the swim stuff, we trekked down to the pool and blew up the floaties. All three really seemed to like floating in the water. We brought their bath toys that they could play with while floating witched worked out really well. After swimming awhile in the deeper pool, we moved to the children's beach area. The water was surprisingly cooler there for it being shallower. There is a lot of splashing from the overhead buckets and umbrellas, so the kiddos were hesitant, but soon the boys wanted to crawl. Adalynn was perfectly happy dipping her toes into the water. Snack time soon followed with animal crackers and juice; Landon napped some, then back home for lunch and naps! Great day

reading
My kiddos have finally discovered books. The last few weeks I have started reading to them usually about once a day. Sometimes before nap time, sometimes just in the evening before bath time, but they thoroughly seem to enjoy it. For the most part they sit in rapt attention, except for Landon. He is usually trying to grab the book from me. They like to hold the books and turn the pages as well. Once they are old enough I am so looking forward to taking them to the library. I love to read, so I hope that passes on the them. I plan on making a trip soon to half price books to get some younger, shorter books. Most of the books I have now are too advanced for them. This causes me to read the same ones over and over. Starting to bore myself. Need to find something short with great flashy pictures.

Pool
My husband went to the store and came home with a swimming pool. What??!!! Not a kiddie pool, an according to the picture on the box comfortably fit 5 adults pool! Really!! Just what a family with three 13 month olds need. Smack! Guess I'm gonna be roughing it with a floatie and some wine tonight in the backyard. Pray for me! Lol

playroom
My next plan of action is to make the triplets playroom more kid friendly. Currently we just have some soft letters on the floor and toys tossed everywhere. I'm wanting to put colorful shag rugs in place of the letter mats. I already bought a bright lime green one, and I'm planning to also get a bright turquoise one. I may even get a third rug but I'm torn between hot pink and bright purple. I have pulled all the toys, swings, and saucers they have outgrown out and put more age appropriate ones in their place. I plan on decorating the boring brown walls with some homemade artwork and pictures. I just finished a bright colored fish drawing, and I'm sure more will soon follow. Some of the triplets older friends and family have already been over to check out the work in progress playroom and seem to love the new toys!

Sams vs Costco
Its the age old question- which one is better?: Sam's or Costco.
Our Costco account finally ran out so we decided to give Sam's a try. Sam's is actually closer to our house and slightly cheaper start-up fee. so why not? We buy our snacks in bulk; you can imagine why. $287 dollars later- nope i don't feel like we saved any extra money changing to Sam's. They want to charge you more for coupons when Costco automatically sends them to you. Plus it seemed smaller and less eye appealing. Ok actually call me a snob but i like going to Southlake and being around a cleaner, prettier atmosphere. Oh well, we have to tough it out for a year at least. The kids seemed to get bombarded more at Sam's. Not sure what it is, but Hispanic women love my babies! Seemed to be a higher Hispanic population at Sam's. Hard to get through the store.
On a side note. New stroller worked well. Aaron likes the other one better. Cant please everyone!
