Two words

Two words can mean a lot. Especially if it is your baby's first two word combo. Marek just put his first two words together. Not only that, he used it in the correct context. Marek just said "baby pig" as he picked up his little pig toy. This is such a great accomplishment for a child with autism. Love him bunches, and it makes me so happy to see him learning and playing. He was been playing with a lot of different toys lately, including driving around cars, and answering correctly letter identification and sounds on the leap learning toy.

Addys first French braid

It's loose since she wouldn't sit still very long, but I got Adalynn in her first French braid.

Dinosaur......ROAR!

We took the kids yesterday to a dinosaur exhibit at the Dallas market Hall in downtown Dallas. They had a great time, and so did this mom. They had large dinosaurs that moved and made noise, they had activities for the children, and they had bounce houses, face painting, and areas where they could run around and explore. Of course it was way too expensive! This momma lied about the kids age because they wanted to charge $12 apiece for any child over two years old. That place was way too crowded to be charging that much per kid, so I said my babies were 22 months. The lines for certain activities were so long that it was ridiculous to try to think that you could get through everything. They charged me $17 to get in and I'm just pushing my kids around in a stroller the whole time. We went with my best friend, her son, her fiancé and his kids; and the kids really had a wonderful time. They didn't realize how crowded it was. Of course the kids got some dinosaur toys out of the deal and a coloring book so that also made things a plus for them. After the exhibit we went and had lunch as a big group, and got stuck in traffic on the way home so they were able to have a long nap in the car.
