Lets get to talking

Speech therapy has been wonderful. I wish we wouldn't have waited so long to start, but within weeks the babies are talking more.
Adalynn can now say: Momma, Daddy, hi, bye-bye, ball, bubbles, cow, moo, pig, sheep, frog, ribbit, nite-nite, more, milk, no, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, (mostly in order) car, duck,
Landon can say: Momma, Daddy, bye-bye, ball, hi, and bubbles
Marek can only say Momma and Daddy still. Kinda think my baby is lazy that or his sister is so chatty, he doesn't feel the need to. Lets go babies! Momma is tired of talking to herself!

Passing the time out in the country

It's always relaxing whenever the triplets and I visit my parents. Fresh country air and lots to do. Unfortunately the babies are still too young to really do much. They did go on their first ever four wheeler rides. But taking them outside by myself is still too difficult. All three run in three different directions. Once they listen better and follow directions then hopefully I won't need the extra hands.

We are heading out to my parents' for a few days, but I couldn't resist this patch of wild flowers on the side of the road.

first swim of the season

Since i was finally off work this past weekend, i had a long overdue get-together with friends. This turned into the first of the season pool party for the kids. It was such a great time to relax with friends and watch the triplets have such a good time splashing with other babies. If its this hot now and its only April first, I can only imagine how bad its going to be come July.

Somehow Landon lost his pants, but became great at retrieving the football. Daddy is so proud.

birthday parties are fun

The babies went to their friends 6th birthday party at the local park today. It was a beautiful day, and all the kids seemed to have fun. Emma had a cowgirl themed party.

March of Dimes

Its time once again for the annual March of Dimes fundraiser. Money raised benefits premature infants and their families. My triplets were born 13 wks premature at only 27 weeks gestation. All three were 2.8 lbs or less. They spent 60-66 days in the NICU of Cook Childrens Hospital. I am very thankful that I now have three healthy 22 month olds. Unfortunately, not all premature infants and their families are as lucky. Please help support you local March of Dimes Team for their annual walk.
