Sorry i havent written in so long. The babies have been spending lots of time playing with their toys, playing in the backyard, watching cartoon, oh and yeah.....walking!!! you read right, my babies have finally started walking. It is so cute to watch them take a few steps with big smiles all over faces, then crash to the floor. Marek and Adalynn are taking several steps before they fall, and Landon is just taking a few then falling. Im so excited for them and hoping that they will be running by Christmas. I have tons of photos to upload that i will try to do in the next few days.

NOVEMBER BEGINS

The last few days the weather has been absolutely wonderful. This is truly my favorite time of year. I love the changes in colors in the foliage as well as the upcoming holiday festivities. Yesterday the triplets and I had a picnic at the park followed by a trip to hobby lobby. I made a very pretty autumn wreath for my front door. We just had a custom border installed for our front flower bed, so i have been inspired to make the entrance prettier.

Marek will be having a MRI of his lumbar spine on Friday. He has been having chronic constipation for 7 months and due to dads family history of a tethered spinal cord and Addy already having her cord released there is a very small chance that Mareks constipation could be a tethered cord too. We are treating him with miralax and just hoping he is just ingesting too much dairy.

Our trip to Iowa was shorter than originally planned due to my uncles recent passing and memorial but the kiddos were well behaved and we really enjoyed visiting family. Driving through the night was a great idea, and we arrived at our destination after only 11 hours and 4 stops. Marek slept completely through and Landon and Addy would wake when the car lights came on. Breakfast out was a must upon our arrival, and the triplets caused quite a stir at the local casino buffet. A neighboring table even bought our breakfast.

The triplets had their first neighborhood trick or treat outing with our closest friends and their children. The weather was awesome, and even better Memaw had potato soup waiting for us on our return.

I'm sad

I'm sad. Life sucks sometimes. I'm sad that my babies will never get to hear my favorite uncle Rays jokes, be teased by him, play cards with him, golf with him, and the list continues. I'm sad because my uncle was only 53 years old. I'm sad that a great person can fall asleep and not wake up. I'm sad for my entire family who doesn't deserve this pain. I'm sad that life is so fragile and short.

Who else would show up at the family Christmas party with 'bubba teeth' and a hillbilly accent and stay in character for the entire day. Who else will make farting noises as they pass by and blame it on the shyest person in the room. Who else is going to make crazy cross-eyed facial expressions at every opportunity for a laugh even when posing with his own mother at a wedding. Who else is going to wear derogatory yet funny t- shirts just to see your reaction. What other guy would actually willingly go to a baby shower for his niece even when his wife wasnt coming.

My best memories as a child are vacations with my family. Some of my best memories as an adult are parties and get togethers with my family. Ray was a huge part of that. I will miss him always!

This week we have be preparing for the babies first ever road trip. Frankly I have been a little stressed in packing everything; trying to make lists so that nothing is forgotten, but also at the same time trying not to overpack due to the limited space in the van. My mom is traveling with me,

and we have been looking forward to this trip. The triplets will meet some family for the first time, and its been over two years since I have seen my Iowa relatives. The fun part is the kids actually get to wear warm clothes. We will be up there through Halloween so it will be fun to see the babies playing with their cousins and trick or treating.

I guess I must be driving the boys crazy since they are trying to escape out of

the front door!

With the trip looming I didnt have time or the extra money to take the kiddos to get their halloween pics taken so in addition to taking the earlier peanut photos at the pumpkin patch, I decided to also shoot some photos in the backyard.
