Marek had an MRI today of his brain and brainstem since his head measured at the 1% on our last visit to the developmental Pediatrition. Due to his autism the doctor felt like it was worth a look to see if there are any abnormalities. I honestly think his head is fine; just a little flat in the back from when he was a preemie. Of course he had to be under sedation because of his age, but he was a total champ. Naturally, he won't up groggy, but quickly drank his juice and was ready to play his favorite game on the iPhone. Love this sweet cutie so much.

Mothers Day 2013
Best Mother's Day yet after the absolute horrible previous day. I slept in first off, and i rolled over to find Starbucks, donuts, and a new Brighton charm waiting for me. My favorite people were in my living room-my babies eating breakfast, my husband, and my parents all enjoying a beautiful sunny morning. Shortly after my parents set up the kids early third birthday present; a awesome bounce house.
It is perfect for them, and they sincerely love it. The slide is so fun, and it turns into a water slide as well.
Ready..set..GO! Landon!
You couldn't get Landon off that slide. He probably went down it fifty times.
Once Adalynn figured out the ladder, she was hooked too.
My brother Jeffrey, Mom, and me.
Add the babies
Our diva movie star
Ladies man Landon
Silly Marek
Aaron grilled out chicken fajitas that i didnt even have to lift a finger to help. Which i think made them taste even better. After lunch i stole my mother away for a secret adventure of painting and cocktails. I also believe a bottle of champagne was consumed, but who's keeping track. We painted irises and had a blast.

Worst moments of my life
On Saturday after their evening bath, I set the triplets on the couch watching cartoons while i put laundry away in my bedroom. About every five minutes or so I would peep my head out and check on them since Landon has a tendency to make messes and get into things when I am not looking. When I looked out and noticed Landon no longer sitting on the couch, I called out his name and looked in the main rooms he was most likely to be. When i didn't find him, i checked outside, then in the garage. At this point i stated to worry since he always comes when i call. After rechecking more thoroughly, i realized the only other option was out the front door. I have never seen Landon open the front door, but i now know he apparently has the skill as well as the thoughtfulness to shut the door behind himself causing a longer delay in discovering he was missing. I ran outside and shouted his name over and over. He was nowhere around. I cannot begin to describe the depth of the horrible feeling i felt. Landon is so cute and sweet and doesn't know a stranger. He would walk up to anyone and hug them. It would only take five seconds for him to get inside a strangers car. I knew he was gone. I ran back into the house shouting again asking Addy if she had seen Landon. I immediately called Aaron screaming, and he had me recheck Landon's favorite hideouts knowing he was not there. I called 911. I called my best friend who immediately sped this way looking through the neighborhood. I called my parents. I called Landon's name until i had no more spit in my mouth and could barely swallow. The police asked for a description. He's two, brown hair, blue eyes, and all he is wearing is a pair of blue underwear. He just took a bath. (He's beautiful, absolutely beautiful, and i will be lost forever if we don't find him.) I am barely holding it together. I can't leave the house to search for him because i can't leave the other two. I see Aaron drive by but not stop. He later said he was heading towards the pond that he always walks to with them. The police are searching throughout the neighborhood, and i am standing in my front yard absolutely helpless. It seems like forever but it may have only been 20-30 minutes since Landon walked out the front door, but a police officer approached me saying they had found him. "That little shit!" was my first thought. I was more scared then i have ever been in my entire life, and Landon was just having an adventure. A women two blocks over found him running down the sidewalk. His nakedness stood out to her, and her husband knew if you find the police cars that you will find the family. She says he ran right up to her and gave her a hug. She was holding him in her lap in the front seat of the police cruiser when they rounded the corner. Landon immediately shouted, "Mommy, Mommy!" and i burst into tears. I couldn't hold it in any longer. All the pent up emotion, anxiety, frustration, fear, relief, and thankfulness poured out. I was a slobbering mess. And i will be forever grateful of this neighbor of mine for returning my precious son home safely to me. We now have child proof and some adult proof front door measures in place. Mother's Day the next day was extra special to say the least.

Messy boy
Why does my son Landon find so much amusement in making a mess. It's like his mission in life to sneak when I'm not looking, and create a mess that's always a pain to clean up. The annoying part is he is so darn cute even when getting caught. One of his favorite things to do is get in the pantry when I'm not looking and pull out stuff he is not supposed to get into, and pore it all over the kitchen floor. So far he's attacked my $12 xanthum gum, a box of cornstarch, and a carton of organic soy milk. He also likes to get into my makeup and either paint all over himself or paint all over my bathroom. Just yesterday he got into a bottle of nail polish and not only painted his fingers but his entire hand and part of the tile. Last week he got into the baby powder and dumped it all over his train table in the playroom. Geez! Let's just say this kid has a bad reputation, and you can't take your eyes off him for a second. You make me so mad one second and then you do something so cute the next and totally redeem yourself, such as turning yourself into a butterfly fairy princess! Haha. Love you Landon!

Our 2nd annual March of Dimes walk
This past weekend we did our second annual March of dimes walk to raise money for premature infants. I honestly don't have a lot of free time, but I always make time for this charity because we lived everything this charity stands and raises money for. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the walk felt great. My team was smaller this year than last, but from those that came I really felt the love and support. Thanks so much for coming Nikki, Sweets, and Cathy!

Our first wedding
The triplets attended their first wedding this past weekend. We drove all the way to Farmington, Missouri for Aaron's sister's nuptials. Twelve long hours away, I might add. Twelve long Dora-filled hours! Thanks again for the invention of the car DVD player, but unfortunately for us my kiddos movie interests aren't very diverse. I was nice seeing family that we hadn't seen in a long time. Plus a lot of people were meeting the triplets for the first time, and they really were a hit at the wedding. Landon and Adalynn were dance floor junkies. We could barely get them off the dance floor. It was so cute to watch them bounce around and wiggle their hips. They were definitely loving all the attention.

Happy Easter 2013
This is obviously not the triplets first Easter, but this is the first year that they participated in the fun kid part of the Easter holiday. They each received their own Easter basket filled with goodies, and we hunted eggs in the backyard.
The day before Easter we went and had our photos taken with the Easter bunny. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.

Emma holding the elusive golden egg.
Group photo prior to the race for eggs.
Great job finding your eggs babies. It was funny watching them go. Landon kept opening his egg as soon as he found them, and Marek was great at finding them, but then he would drop them back on the ground. Thankfully Emma and Samantha ended up with most off the eggs, because i definitely didn't want all that candy in my house. We had great lunch of ham, fruit salad, and green beans, and a nice time spending it with family.
