I'm sad

I'm sad. Life sucks sometimes. I'm sad that my babies will never get to hear my favorite uncle Rays jokes, be teased by him, play cards with him, golf with him, and the list continues. I'm sad because my uncle was only 53 years old. I'm sad that a great person can fall asleep and not wake up. I'm sad for my entire family who doesn't deserve this pain. I'm sad that life is so fragile and short.

Who else would show up at the family Christmas party with 'bubba teeth' and a hillbilly accent and stay in character for the entire day. Who else will make farting noises as they pass by and blame it on the shyest person in the room. Who else is going to make crazy cross-eyed facial expressions at every opportunity for a laugh even when posing with his own mother at a wedding. Who else is going to wear derogatory yet funny t- shirts just to see your reaction. What other guy would actually willingly go to a baby shower for his niece even when his wife wasnt coming.

My best memories as a child are vacations with my family. Some of my best memories as an adult are parties and get togethers with my family. Ray was a huge part of that. I will miss him always!

ready to go

This week we have be preparing for the babies first ever road trip. Frankly I have been a little stressed in packing everything; trying to make lists so that nothing is forgotten, but also at the same time trying not to overpack due to the limited space in the van. My mom is traveling with me,

and we have been looking forward to this trip. The triplets will meet some family for the first time, and its been over two years since I have seen my Iowa relatives. The fun part is the kids actually get to wear warm clothes. We will be up there through Halloween so it will be fun to see the babies playing with their cousins and trick or treating.

I guess I must be driving the boys crazy since they are trying to escape out of
the front door!

At least the weather has been amazing so we have been playibg outside on the patio or going
to the park

hi Adalynn
Lets play babies! We love our Zany Zoo

With the trip looming I didnt have time or the extra money to take the kiddos to get their halloween pics taken so in addition to taking the earlier peanut photos at the pumpkin patch, I decided to also shoot some photos in the backyard.

Note to self: When schools are closed for a holiday-the mall is going to be busy. My brother suggested going to the mall so my brood tagged along for the ride. Lunch was my primary focus! I finally fed my babies fried, greasy chicken strips, french fries, and corn. Definitely felt like a bad mom, but food courts aren't really known for their healthy cuisine. Of course the triplets loved it. Even picky meat eater Marek stuffed himself with chicken. Dinner that night was definitely better. I even snuck broccoli into their chicken spaghetti!

The other day I took the babies grocery shopping. In order to do that in the past we always had to go to Walmart since they have the carts that can accommodate my three babies. I hate going to Walmart, so I was extremely happy when i noticed that Kroger now has these carts that my babies are now finally big enough to fit in

these two are driving-watch out
they loved honking the horns

Before the grocery store, however, we can to make an annoying trip to my work for an annual mask fit test. This is used for droplet isolation patients. What annoys me is that they stopped making it available for renewel on the weekends. They want me to come sometime Monday through Friday 8 am - 4 pm. Hello people there is a reason I only work weekends! Hell no i wasn't going to get a babysitter! If i have to go to work I'm taking my loud ass kids with me to prove a point. This was actually one time i was happy that they were ill behaved. Scream all u want babies! Teach that mean ole hospital to cater to shifts other than first shift employees!

After an hour and a half of the lady trying to get the machine to work and my kids crying, i finally pulled up a mickey mouse cartoon on my iphone. lol
After the 30 minute drive to work, wasting an hour and a half of my time there, the lady wasnt even able to complete my test due to the machine breaking. Then followed by an hour drive home in traffic. Go me

found my stinker Landon this way. His new thing is pulling open the stove drawer and climbing in.

PEANUTS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE PUMPKIN PATCH

Yes in this still ferocious heat, i loaded up the tots and headed to the local tree farm and pumpkin patch. The sadistic mom in me dressed her triplets in their Halloween costumes early. You're welcome babies. Lets just say this was the fastest photo session in history. The babies cheeks were pink from the heat of those costumes in about three seconds. Landon was by far the most upset about our little excursion. But needless to say there were a few precious pictures that made the entire tedious trip worthwhile.

Addys working on getting her hardship drivers license early. Her hardship you ask???

I think Landon wears his food more than he actually eats it

Addy is having too much fun with her food
This is where Marek fell asleep by our master bath door. Aaron said he hit his
head coming out after his shower and it didnt even wake him up.

The triplets made their first trip to a local park. finally! It was to attend my BFF son's 4th birthday party. So of course they may have stole some of jaxon's thunder. It always happens especially when i dress them alike, which i did! lol Its October--orange! It was a beautiful day and i really enjoyed taking them.

i love adalynns shirt- give me your candy or owl scare you! lol

Marek has started smiling on cue when u say cheese

Landon was too busy eating leaves and grass to pose for a picture
we brought our own blanket and toys. I cant wait until that is not necessary anymore

routine

We have gotten into a great routine. finally! My children have consistently been sleeping through the night for a few months now. I have a good idea what foods they like and dislike. They take their naps around the same time everyday, and they have started playing together more frequently. It is so cute watching them make each other laugh and playing peek-a-boo in the curtains.
They had their flu shot recently so we learned that Marek weighs 23 lbs, Landon 22 lbs, and Addy is 20 lbs. approximately. So now everyone has a forward facing car seat in which they can watch their cartoon DVDs in the van. yea me! I do have to say Curious George isn't that annoying in the car. Anyways, today is the first full day my husband has watched the triplets since his foot surgery without any help. Of course i already checked up on him and thankfully the kiddos are behaving.
Adalynn and Marek have started standing up by themselves without holding onto anything. Not sure why Landon isn't either. Especially since he is actually getting one on one time with the therapist still. I want my babies walking already! lol I'm tired of picking these heavy babies up! They are killing my back. I'll be a hunched over old lady by the time im 35!
In other news, I had Lasik done on Monday. It was scary and painful, but hopefully worth it. I have been without my glasses all week and it sure has been nice. Lets hope my vision continues to improve. I did notice at night that the lights are blurry. Oh well, I guess this means that now i can truly see how dirty my house is.
