LAST PHOTOS OF 2010

TURN OF EVENTS

The past few days have been exhausting. The gament of emotions has run in our house from normal happy to uncertainty to concern to apprehension to fearfulness to supreme worry to relief to thankfulness to the happy dance! We noticed Landons soft spot on his head appeared to be bulging out. Thinking the worse (fluid on the brain), we immediately met with the pediatrition and then rapidly sent for a CAT Scan of his brain and skull. Waiting for the results was the worse part, but the following morning to our greatest joy we found out the test came back normal. Thank God! Our relief is immense.

Yesterday also brought a visit from an old friend. Amber and her son Kylon came to visit the triplets for the first time.

So glad for the visit. Kylon is such a cutie pie!

ORDINARY DAY

Today is an ordinary day. Its also a day that I enjoy. An ordinary day consists of the babies being in pretty good humor and not giving their poor momma too much trouble. I was able to get some light organizing done, laundry, and the beginning of putting away the few christmas decorations that made an appearance this year. Everyone had baths this morning and prior to that had their 7 month foot stamp taken. One of these day I actually plan on putting their scrap book together, but currently Im just gathering the momentos. I even shreaded two months worth of old bills and receits, so Im feeling pretty pleased with myself. Im even going to stretch this goodwill towards dinner for my loving husband and cohabitating brother! Plus I picked up two extra shifts at work over the next two days so this is my only opurtunity.

FIRST RIDE OUT

As it happens a few days before Christmas it is sunny and 80 degrees in Texas. This is totally normal of course, if you live here then you know. So taking advantage of the lovely weather, I decided to see if the babies would fit in their used triplet stroller. This stroller is designed for babies when they are larger and can support themselves. The trio is still not quite large and physically strong enough yet, but they did well for their first time out!

As you can see they are slumped to the side in each compartment.

7 MONTHS OLD TODAY

Guess whose seven months old today? yup My babies! The boys graciously celebrated by sleeping until 5 am-thank you so much boys! We got some good sleep last night. The lunar eclipse was also last night and I thought for sure one of the babies would be up for me to see it and since everyone slept well I missed it. Honestly Im not too heartbroken. lol

The trips have been on cereal for 2 weeks now and they still dont like it much so I finally decided to pull down the first jar of baby food. And the winner is sweet potatos! Mixed that with the cereal and it seemed to disappear from the bowl alittle faster. So we will stick with that for a few days and then I think green beans will make an appearance.
Well the babies went to their first christmas party this past saturday. Thankfully we had a lot of help with holding them and trying to keep them happy. They are definitely a lot more work when we are away from home since you cant just plop one down in a swing. But it was so great visiting with family. Plus the kiddos came away with some great gifts!

GOOD DAY

Some days are better than others; yesterday was horrible; but today the babies are great. No screaming fits today as well as performing well on bumbo time, tummy time, and laughing and mimicking momma. We have been struggling with Landon and his holding up his head, but the last two days he has shined. So proud of his progress. He also rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time today. It melts my heart when he laughs when tickled.

Marek today started mimicking me when I motorboat my lips. It is so funny to see him try to copy.

ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

Landon and Marek were wonderfully given another box of clothes, toys, and a bouncer from our friend Kolby. Well this hat was in the pile. Fits Landon well, however he doesnt seem as enthused as I am about it. If he is anything like his father, he will grow to love wearing a ball cap and probably have a slight obsession with constantly buying new ones.

We are going very small with our Christmas decor this year---very small. This is a small Charlie Brown esk tree on our dining table. But at least there are lights that the babies can stare at and presents under the tree. Next year the 9 footer will be making a reappreance , along with all the outside decorations as well. poor Aaron!

The stockings are a smashing success! And the triplets already have their first present inside. Thanks McNeely Family! Plus we took our christmas photos are they came out so great!!

STOCKINGS

Our Christmas stockings came back from the embroidery lady and they are awesome! All three have the kiddos name written across the top in white. Adalynns stocking is red and and boys stockings are blue. I will post a pic when i get a chance. I still have to get mine and aarons out of the storage container, but I just havent found the time.
Cereal is still not a favorite of the babies. Lots of crying, flying airplanes, and sneakiness plays a major part of lunch time. It is really cute to see them sitting in their highchair tho. So far I am just feeding one baby at a time, but once food becomes a regular staple then I'll will try to feed everyone at once---assembly line style. Lets hope I can keep up.
With this being the babies first christmas, we arent really planning a lot for them.. Aaron has already taken them to visit and get their pictures taken with santa earlier in the month. They are scheduled to have their christmas photos taken next week. We are putting up a tree this weekend (finally), and they are going to the Loos family christmas party the 18th. Im working christmas day, so i think my husband and I will probably exchange gifts christmas eve. We arent planning on getting the babies gifts this year since they have everything they need already. I have purchased one small stuffed animal for each stocking, and we bought them a new outfit to have their christmas pics taken in. That will most likely be it unless i just come across something too adorable to pass up.
Im hoping the babies ask santa for some hair for christmas, or maybe some teeth; as the song goes. I would perfer hair! Their little fuzzies are sweet but I would love something I could brush after a bath. Or clip a bow to.
I'm asking santa for a vacation! to someplace tropical. With drinks with little umbrellas and nothing but relaxation on the agenda. Wishful thinking only.
